Background

 

 

Just like his elder brother Edward, Gavin hails from Brestia, and was also a 2^nd Lieutenant from the Brestia Special Force. Thinking that Edward was murdered by Montoro, he swore to find the evil count in the new world and avenge his brother's death.

Stances / Skills

 

• Bareknuckle - A fighting stance using bare hands. No special features.
• Epee Garde - A piercing stance using a Rapier. It has a high ATK speed and causes heavy damage.
  • Fente - A lightning-quick attack that takes enemy by surprise and pierces him deeply. It has a longer range than other stabbing attacks.
  • Sept Etoiles - Rapidly pierces enemies and forces them to retreat.
  • Balestra Fente - An advanced form of the Fente, accompanied by a surprising leap and powerful lunge.
  • Cent-Ennui - Attacks enemies with a series of violent stabs.
• Sabre Garde - A slashing stance using the Rapier. Increases attack speed and evasion.
  • Tete - Strikes enemies with the hilt before a damaging slash.
  • Evasion - Increases your ability to dodge attacks for a limited time.
  • Attaque Compose - A rapid series of merciless slashes.
  • Esquive Touch - A series of rapid slashes followed by a powerful stab.
• Advance Garde - A simple but unique stance using a Rapier and Pistol. Its attack is fast and strong.
  • Arme Bullet - Shoots 5 times consecutively with the pistol in the left hand. This can be used as a normal attack.
  • Croix Fente - Slashes the enemy and finishes with a powerful stab.
  • Entrer en Lices - Shoots enemies 5 times before a fatal thrust. Can be used on airborne enemies.
  • Mortal Eternity - Slashes enemies mercilessly and finishes with a fatal bullet.
• Aiming Shot - A marksman's pistol stance.
  • Serpent Sting - Fires a poisonous bullet.
  • Double Firing - Fire two rapid shots.
  • Snap Shot - Shoots 5 targets within a certain area.
  • Zero-In - Fires rapidly at a single enemy.
• Freestyle Shot - A one-handed pistol stance. Although it has a poor accuracy, it allows for quick firing.
  • Westraid - Increases shooting speed but sacrifices accuracy. A change of stance will cause you to lose this effect.
  • Triple Firing - A rapid attack of 3 shots.
  • The Quick and the Dead - Fires randomly at a group of enemies.
• Double-Gun Shot - Dual Pistol Stance. It has the poorest accuracy but the fastest firing speed.
  • Westraid - Increases shooting speed but sacrifices accuracy. A change of stance will cause you to lose this effect.
  • Bloody Overdrive - Fire mercilessly in all directions at surrounding enemies.
  • Quattro Firing - Fires 4 rapid shots at a single enemy.
  • R.I.P - Fires a series of rapid shots at an enemy with both pistols.

Gavin is able to deal more damage with melee weapons, and has higher damage and higher accuracy with pistols. He also has a higher chance of dealing critical damage due to his high STR and DEX. He suffers from low attack speed and evasion due to his lower AGI.

 

Conclusion

 

A very cool looking RNPC, Gavin makes a prestigious addition to any family. He also bolsters melee power by giving expert families another rapier user to select, making him effective both for hunting and in PvP.
