V 2.1.18 Feature: Veteran Upgrades

Welcome back! Here we’ll talk about Veteran upgrades, the way past level 100. Upon reaching level 100, you can upgrade your characters to Veterans, which gives you a bonus stat point and access to special veteran stances.

Any level 100 base character or RNPC can be promoted to Veteran.

When you upgrade to Veteran your character will receive:

-          1 bonus stat point, to be assigned by you. This will permanently increase one of the character’s attributes by 1.

-          Access to Veteran Stances: Veteran stances are available to Fighters, Elementalists, Musketeers, and Wizards, as well as a few RNPCS.

To upgrade to Veteran status you must:

-          Achieve level 100

-          Purchase a “Promotion Scroll” from the Premium Item trader

-          Visit the Master Room in a main city

-          Speak to the prospective Master to upgrade your character

Purchase a Veteran Scroll from the Premium Shop to upgrade a level 100 Character.

After achieving Veteran status, you can spend a bonus stat point to make your character stronger. You then will be able to create and learn veteran stances. The stance books for veteran stances can be made by speaking with the respective Masters in a Master Room. You will have to collect different rare items to make the books.

Fighter:

-          Advance Garde: A simple but unique stance which uses a Rapier and Pistol together. (Increases attack speed and rate of critical hits).

-          Sidewinder: An elite Great Sword stance which uses the size of the weapon to strike multiple enemies. (Increases attack speed and rate of critical hits).

-          The Defender: A defensive stance using a blunt weapon and a shield. (Increases block rate).

-          Stave Guard: A thrusting stance using a javelin. (Increases attack speed, critical rate and block rate).

Elementalist:

-          Domination Fire: A set of elite Fire magic skills (Increases SP regeneration).

-          Domination Ice: A set of elite Ice magic skills (Increases SP regeneration).

-          Domination Lightning: A set of elite Lightning magic skills (Increases SP regeneration).

Wizard:

-          Incantation: An advanced magical stance that is composed primarily of defensive buffs (Increase SP regeneration).

-          Anathema: An advanced magical stance that is composed primarily of debuff curses (Increase SP regeneration).

Musketeer:

-          Close Encounters: A shooting stance which can attack close enemies using a bayonet (Increases accuracy, attack speed, critical rate and block rate).
